Walking Projects Co-ordinator - Let's Walk Cymru Swansea (Part Time)
14 Mar 2008'Let's Walk Cymru' is a national initiative supported by the Sports Council for Wales, which is aimed and encouraging people to walk more, increase doorstep opportunities to become more physically active and utilise the natural infrastructure that is available in Swansea.
'Lets walk Cymru' is looking for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our Development & Outreach Team in Swansea. The aim is to increase the opportunities for people to access physical activity opportunities which will lead to lifelong participation in healthy lifestyles.
You will need a range of health related qualifications with a specific walking and coach education delivery qualification being desirable. It would be an advantage to have at experience of instructing individuals and/or groups/classes in a voluntary or professional capacity.
The post is part time (19hrs) and for 1 year in the first instance at Scale 5 (£18,907 pro rata)
